March 3, 2018 –
Join us for an Intensive Internet Genealogy Workshop Saturday, February 24th 10 am—12 pm & Saturday, March 3rd 10 am—12 pm at the Dassel Public Library
In this hands-on session Molly Schweinfurter will discuss many popular genealogy websites with a special emphasis on Minnesota sites. Participants should bring names and dates to research during class and be familiar with the basics of using a computer. Note that this is a two week class that should allow you to do some research and then come back to get more help.
Molly has over twenty years of experience researching her own family and has traced some of her family lines back to the 1600s; she has also traveled to Europe to visit her ancestral homelands. She has presented workshops on genealogy to libraries in the Plum Creek, Pioneerland and Traverse des Sioux library systems, at Branch Out Minnesota and at the Minnesota Library Association annual conference.
Stop in at the library or call 320-275-3756 to register as space is limited.
