Dassel Library will offer a program for kids called Pizza Science on Wednesday, August 12. This program will be held at Jimmy’s Pizza at 1:30 p.m. Free, but registration is required; call the library at 320-275-3756.

Open to children in grades K-6. Children younger than age 8 must have an adult or teen chaperone to assist them. All participants must wear a hat/baseball cap and have any long hair pulled back in order to make pizza.

Kids will learn about the plants that are made into the ingredients for pizza, and they’ll make their own mini Jimmy’s pizzas! Thank you to Jimmy’s Pizza of Dassel for hosting this event, and to the Meeker County Extension Service for designing this program!
